ArchiOffice Discussion > Library module
Kent,
So nice to hear from you. Earlier this week, another AO user requested something similar. See my blog post by clicking the following link. The last paragraph addresses some of your desires. However, I'm not sure why your issue isn't handled by the existing Documents management process. You can always search for documents regardless of project.

Please, please bring back the "Library" module! I can't think of a more welcome development for ArchiOffice. I'm probably one of the few users who is not an architecture firm--I'm a contractor, and would rejoice at finally having a place in ArchiOffice for all of the product literature, cut sheets, web sites, and just general research required for every project. Currently these documents (when they're properly documented) are somewhat orphaned in a couple of different places: a "Cut sheets" folder containing pdfs, screen shots, downloads, etc., different bookmarks folders on my browser, and a folder that contains what I call for lack of a better term "Technical bulletins": documentation of solutions to specific problems that arise during a job, which includes areas to record technical data such as manufacturer, model number, contact, web link etc. It would be so great to have a home for all of this in an AO module that could be searched across all projects for use a powerful resource!
