ArchiOffice Discussion > ArchiOffice 9 Multilanguage?... and Custom variables?...

Hi ArchiOffice Staff!

How is rolling the new AO9 project?
Hope sucess for the next version!
I would like to know if is there any plan to deliver the AO9 with multilanguage capabilities...
And also if it will have custom variables... It would be great.

Best Regards,

Paulo

ArchiOffice v9 has been built with multilingual capability. However, this doesn't mean that when we release it - it will be immediately available in all languages. We have built the structure to allow multi languages, and will determine which languages we will release it in. As time allows, we can add more languages, or our users in other languages might be able to help us with specific translations. We’ve prepared the program, we’ll just need to complete the tables.

With regard to custom variables, you should be happy to know that v9 will have a much more robust search system. And if you're a moderately sophisticated SQL user - you can have fun building your own queries.

Thank you Mr. Burns for your reply.

The news are REALLY good!

You can count on me in the portuguese translation project ;o)

About the new search system based in SQL, I have no doubts that it will be a great feature... I just wanted to be sure if with AO9 I will be able to, for example: Create my own variables and add it to the program interface.

Best Regards,

PHSantos
