ArchiOffice Discussion > ArchiOffice 9 speed

Hi Steve,
I'm still anxiously awaiting ArchiOffice 9. One thing that seems like it's slowing down in ArchiOffice 8 is our time slips. I just notice that we currently have 13,710 time slips. Do you think that ArchiOffice 9 will have a better response time when it comes to creating & editing time slips when the database has multiple years worth of entries?

Hi Robert,

We're currently alpha testing v9.

13,710 records in Time/Exp is not very much. We have firms with a few hundred thousand. I suggest you contact our support department and see what's causing the slowdown. Generally, this is network related. We have seen speed issues, but not with that small an amount.

With regards to v9, it's a significantly faster application.

Thanks Steve. I'm sure no one will complain about things being faster!

We REALLY are going to have problems with upgrades to Systems software and snow leopard with new machines...Come on enough of blog platitudes about things that are not relevant to AO.

We are running out of patience.

Robert,
I'm not sure I understand your posting here. What's this particular post about?
