Preparing for AIA 2007 in San Antonio

san antonio alamo.jpgIn a few days our group is heading to San Antonio to participate in the 2007 AIA Convention and Expo. It’s always a really big deal for us as we get to spend 3 days talking with people like you about our most favorite thing: ArchiOffice. It’s just about the best place for us to listen to what you are interested in; what problems you have in your firms and what you are looking for in the way of software to help make your lives easier.

If you’re one of the 20,000 Architects who will be in San Antonio next week, I encourage you to stop by booth #11178 and talk to us. Take ArchiOffice for a test drive and see first hand what we’ve done with our new update v8.5. This particular update took us longer than usual because we decided to address some of the really big requests you have been asking for over the last year or two.

There was one woman (you know who you are), who during the last two National AIA Conventions spent no less than one hour in our booth berating us for not having a system to manage submittals. “How can you call yourself a project management software for Architects when you don’t even have something to deal with submittals?”

Well, I’m hoping she stops back again for her annual flagellation. We’ve finally found an elegant and useful method for dealing with submittals. I can’t wait to show her.

This years theme is, of course, “Growing beyond Green.” In our effort to be as green as possible, we decided to leave our big, heavy 20’ booth at home (along with the 3 - 32” monitors), and instead, ship a lightweight, portable 20’ booth.  While it won’t be as flashy, we’re making an effort to keep things light-weight.

Oh, and our booth is black and we’ll all be wearing black clothes. Black is the new Green.
